Thanksgiving

Give thanks with a grateful heart.
Give thanks to the holy one
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son.

And we do. As we should. Thanksgiving is a time to remember all the blessings we've received. 

In 1994, we were given a great gift just before Thanksgiving. Our foster care license was still pretty shiny and new. The county worker called to say that had two little girls ready to move to a more permanent home.         
    We hurried around, gathering "pink" stuff. What a difference those girls have made in our lives!!!  giggles & curls, pajama parties & Barbies, all too soon turned into driver' ed & graduation parties! 
    Every year, we think back on the November arrivals, and the joy.
    Thank you Lord for all your gifts and especially the girls you entrusted us with  <3
